Over 2 decades ago after my National Youth Service Corps (a program set up by the Nigerian government in 1973 to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country) Year, there was a pressing need to change my location in search of greener pastures as the first born of a family of seven.

This was necessary because I couldn’t imagine myself being additional burden to my parents who were Civil Servants. The pastures in my state were not green enough to assuage my hunger, so I moved to Lagos in search of greener ones.

Within 2 weeks of arrival, I survived food poison apparently from contaminated food products – I was very lucky to have survived it; not everyone is that lucky.

In 2020, World Health Organisation reported that an estimated 600 million (almost 1 in 10 people in the world) fall ill after eating contaminated food and 420,000 die every year as a result. This is alarming.

This near-death food poisoning experience necessitated the idea of solving the problem of food related ailments by providing healthy food products. The idea which was conceived over twenty years ago was birthed in 2018 – Did I hear you say, “Long gestation period”?

During this long gestation period, I found myself grazing in different greener pastures (in the fields of Infrastructure, Telco and Oil & Gas) with Marketing/Sales, Customer Service and HR functions.

Blossom Food Products (Trademark) was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as Pison Tipping Point Limited in 2018, an agribusiness with the vision to ensure healthy food products are available all year round to every home, both locally and internationally.

It carefully sources, processes and packages natural and unadulterated food condiments from known farmers thus, guaranteeing quality.

From a humble beginning, the team has been able to grow the brand with the flagship products, Blossom Palm Oil (NAFDAC Certified) from the shelf of one Supermarket in 2018 to over 30 Supermarkets within and outside Lagos. Other products line has been added in the course of the growth of the company.

Blossom Food Products is not limited to bricks and mortal confines of the supermarkets. We have a very strong online presence where our teeming customers shop for their favourite food products on a daily basis.

With this platform, customers’ orders are delivered to their doorsteps within 24 hours.
